This relaxed evening is open to current ringers, former ringers, and anyone interested in learning more about our ensemble. You’ll have the opportunity to ring through a variety of music, meet our members, and experience what a rehearsal is like—without the pressure of an audition or commitment to join. Whether you’re returning to handbells after a break or simply curious about what we do, we’d love to have you ring with us.

Please register by July 14th. Advance registration helps us select music and prepare ringing assignments for the evening. Register Here

About the Group

Who we are:

Bells of Lake Norman is a community handbell ensemble based in the Lake Norman, North Carolina area. Our performances feature a combination of instruments we own and others made available to us through Centre Presbyterian Church.

We currently own 3 octaves of Malmark Handchimes, a variety of accesories and also have access to 5 octaves of Schulmerich Handbells, 5 octaves of Schulmerich Handchimes, 2 octaves of Schulmerich Silver Melody Bells, and a variety of additional percussion instruments.

We are an auditioned group, with auditions held at the beginning of each semester.

We got started:

BOLN was formed in the fall of 2014 as a quartet, it is growing and has developed into a full ensemble with individuals who have a wide variety of ringing experience.

We practice:

The group currently practices at Centre Presbyterian Church, in Mooresville, NC, on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30.
